People's Parking is delighted to announce that applying for the People's Parking accreditation has just got easier, for International Parking Community (IPC) members. This is because IPC members can now apply for a People's Parking accreditation directly through the IPC website when uploading parking sites to the system.
A People's Parking accreditation offers a parking operator many advantages. Besides directing motorists to your parking facility and providing a caring customer experience, People's Parking is entirely sympathetic with the discrimination provisions contained in the KADOE Contract. Parking operators will be aware that they must adhere to the Equality Act 2010 and the Human Rights Act 1998 as a stated obligation under a KADOE Contract.
As well as catering for disabled people, People's Parking provides information to help motorists with specific requirements to make an informed choice about where they can park. Parents with children, electric vehicles, camper vans and drivers of light commercial vehicles can locate parking facilities that are compatible with their specific needs.
The People's Parking website also provides useful information regarding payment options including cash, cards, pay-by-phone, pre-booking or whether there is provision for free parking. Motorists can also search for any combination of facilities, location and payment options on the website.
Non IPC members can still apply for the accreditation through the People's Parking website.
