Tackling Blue Badge abuse

Helen Dolphin from People's Parking has been out and about with Blue Badge enforcement officers in Norfolk. All car parks accredited by People's Parking must enforce their disabled bays to make sure only Blue badge holders park in them. However, on street officers also have the power to check badges and bring prosecutions where a badge is not being used by the holder. People's Parking would like to see more councils using enforcement officers to tackle the problem of Blue Badge abuse.
